Donna Jean Crisp

Donna Crisp, age 77 of Bandy, VA died Friday, October 14, 2016 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. She was born August 16, 1939 in the Dix Creek community of Bandy, VA and was a daughter of Margaret Blanche Patterson McReynolds of Dix Creek, VA and the late Melvin Brown McReynolds. Mrs. Crisp was a 1957 Graduate of Tazewell High School and was a retired Private Duty Nurse. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church at the Dial Rock section of North Tazewell, VA where she was a devoted servant of the Lord. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When time permitted, Donna could be found sewing, quilting or working jigsaw puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy McReynolds. Those who survive to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, include her husband of fifty-nine years, Clifford Ellis Crisp; one daughter, Karen Lavonne Ford and husband, Allen of Bristol, VA; two sons, Kevin Crisp and wife, Jackie of North Tazewell, VA and Terry Crisp of Bland, VA; four brothers, Jerry McReynolds and wife, Doris of North Tazewell, VA, Buddy McReynolds of Graham, NC, Dennis McReynolds and wife, Sandra of Tazewell, VA and Eugene McReynolds of Dix Creek, VA; one sister-in-law, Brenda McReynolds of Cedar Bluff, VA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Donna Crisp will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the New Covenant Fellowship Church located at 468 Dial Rock Rd, North Tazewell, VA with the Rev. Dave Webb and the Rev. Kenny Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be Josh Brown, Charles McReynolds, Bryan McReynolds, Jacob Duty, Shawn McReynolds and Mark Bandy. The family will receive friends at the New Covenant Fellowship Church after 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016.
