Howard Lewis "Buddy" Richardson, Jr. of the Thompson VAlley section of Tazewell, VA went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle against cancer. He went peacefully as he heard his angles call, while being surrounded by those he loved most, wife and life long friend, and his adoring girls. He was a devoted husabnd, father, Papa and friend. Buddy was an advid outdoorsman, his passion included hunting and fishing with his grandchildren, archery, supporting the Tazewell girls softball league and countless hours enjoyed with his loving labrador, Levi. He was born at Bluefield, WV and was the son of Howard Lewis Richardson, Sr. and Eva Farley Richardson of Princeton, WV. Buddy had made his home in the Tazewell area for the past 14 years. He was a graduate of Princeton High School Class of 1972 and a 1974 graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville West Virginia with a degree in forestry and horticulture. He was employed in the forestry industry with M. Vir Forestry Products. He was a member of Raven Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Troy hagy. In addition to his parents, survivors include: His wife, Pam Richardson Daughters: Amy Richardson Boley and Sgt. 1st Calss Colin Boleyy of Smith Station, AL, and Kristin Richardson St. Peter of husband Brett of Tazewell, VA. Sisters: Donna Bledsoe and family of MOrristown, TN, Janet Adams and family of Princeton, WV, Kenneth Hagy and family of Bland, VA and Robin Boothe and family of Tazewell, VA. Brothers: Gary Richardson and family of Princeton, WV Clarence Richardson and family of Princeton, WV, Kenneth Hagy and family of Bland, VA and Anthony Hagy and family of Tazewell, VA. Grandchildren, Noah Boley, Casidhe Boley and unborn Baby Boy St. Peter Mother-in-law, Pearl Hagy of Tazewell, VA Honorary sons: Josh Lambert and Carlos Fernandez Funeral Services for Howard Lewis Buddy Richardson, Jr. will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel of Tazewell, VA with Rev. Barry Absher officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Richardson, Gene Richardson, Jimmy Richardson, Matt Henderson, Josh Lambert and Jerry Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ira Felty, Cody Gillespie and Chase Shehane. Friends may call at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia, Monday evening from 6 -9 pm.
