Infant Taegen Armonii Mitchell

An angel from the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth and whispered as she closed the book, “Too beautiful for Earth”, and Taegen Armonii Mitchell was swept up by the angel as soon as she was born on August 16, 2021. Her parents, Thaddeus DeVaughn Mitchell and Lauren Ashleigh Honeycutt, loved her so much that their love helped her find her little wings. As our lil dove began to soar, she painted the heavens with her graceful colors of love, leaving us a rainbow of hope. She was welcomed back to heaven by her maternal great grandfather, Donald Elkins; Paternal Great Grandfathers, Billy Mitchell and Michael Tarter; and paternal great grandmother, Virginia Mitchell. To those she left behind, she has imprinted her lil footprints upon their hearts forever, her parents, Thaddeus DeVaughn Mitchell and Lauren Ashleigh Honeycutt; her paternal grandparents, Devon Farmer and Chad Mitchell; Paternal great grandmother, Shelia Tarter; Maternal grandparents, Donna Alley and husband, Tracy; Maternal great grandparents, Jean Elkins, Joey and Edna Honeycutt; Maternal Great-Great Grandparents, Harry and Maxine Jennings; Uncles, Logan Honeycutt, Romeo Locklear, Hunter Mitchell, and Dylan Mitchell; Aunt, Jayla Farmer; Great uncle, Bob Elkins; Great Aunts, Betty Mounts and Peggy Wilson; Other great aunts and uncles, Karen Pruitt and husband, Chris, Faith Tarter, Ben Mitchell and wife, Kristen, Katie Mitchell, Jeremy Honeycutt, Tiffany Honeycutt, Scooby Tarter, and Tyler Mitchell; Cousins, Kayla McClanahan and husband, Aaron, Lilee McClanahan, Levi McClanahan, Nikki Elkins, Jordan Honeycutt, Savanna Coleman, Essence Brown, Ebony Brown, Jermaine Todd, Ezekiel Brown, Eli Brown, Ava Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Miles Mitchell, Juwan Jordan, and Jalen Jordan. Funeral services for Taegen Armonii Mitchell will be conducted at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with Reverend Buddy Herald and Ben Mitchell officiating. Entombment will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in Richlands, Virginia where Thaddeus Mitchell, Logan Honeycutt, Tracy Alley, Cade Myers, Tyler Mabry and Chandler Hill will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, August 23, 2021 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
