Bobby William Cordle

Bobby William Cordle, age 40, of Richlands, VA passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Bobby was born in Richlands, VA and was the son of Debbie Shortt Cordle of Richlands, VA and the late Walter Cordle. He was a 1996 graduate of Richlands High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. Bobby was a member of the Church of New Beginnings in Middle Creek. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparent’s, Curtis and Louise Shortt and Luther and Edith Cordle; sister, Angela Casey; Uncle’s, David Whitt and James Cordle. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: His Daughter: Brooke Cordle Sister: Rebecca Martin and husband, Wayne of Richlands, VA Brother: Michael Cordle of Richlands, VA Special Aunts: Brenda Whitt, Martha Ball and husband Bo, Peggy Shelton and husband, Mack, Wanda Lester and husband, Junior, Connie Cochran and husband, Danny, Zella Johnson and husband, Billy, Alice Shelton and husband, Bob. Special Uncle: Jeffrey Shortt and wife, Jennifer, Ricky Cordle and wife, Martha. Sister-in-law, Amanda Cordle and Pam Cordle Brother-in-law, Doug Casey Special Friends, Jack Cordle, Nathan Cordle, Charlie Dupree and Monica White Nieces, Sky Casey, Autumn Casey, Isabella Cordle, Kaylee White, Emma Keen Nephews, Austin Martin and Connor Martin Goddaughter, Payton Faith Whitt Godmother, Sherry Smith Special pets, Lil Girl and Gracie Funeral services for Bobby William Cordle will be conducted Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Danny Houchins and Bro. Joe Horn officiating. Interment will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, VA. Pallbearers will be, Claude Ball, Curtis Whitt, Brandon Byrd, Kevin Miller, Zachary Cochran, Tony Cochran, Billy Johnson and Bryan Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Shortt, Shawn Shelton, Doug Shelton, Wayne Martin, Austin Martin, Connor Martin, Barry Miller, Bun White, Bobby Johnson, Corey Whitt and David Shelton.
