Bobby Lee Keen

Bobby Lee Keen age, 52 of Raven, Virginia passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at a local Richlands hospital. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late, John and Kansas Coxton Keen. He had worked as a coal truck driver for over 30 years and was currently employed by HRF Transport. He enjoyed going to the lake with his family, hunting, spending time outdoors, loved to watch NASCAR racing and liked working on his truck and doing projects around the house. Bobby will be remembered for his outgoing personality and contagious smile. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family more than life itself. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, by a sister, Ollie Mae Keen Brown and three brothers, Dennis Edward Keen, Carlos Keen and Harold Smith. He is survived by: His loving wife of 22 years, Kristie Church Keen of Raven, VA His son, Bobby Lee Keen and companion, Tiffany Stillwell of Cedar Bluff, VA Daughters, Kelsey Lynn Keen and Kendra Nicole Keen of the home. Brother, Wayne Keen and wife Ann of Shortt Gap, VA Sisters, Charlene Keen Brown and husband Andy of Richlands, VA Brenda Keen Dotson and husband Kenneth of Richlands, VA Nancy Keen Lester and husband Steve of Richlands, VA Anna Ruth Keen Lester of Richlands, VA Mother and Father in Law, Joyce and Clyde Leach of Metamora, IL Canine Companions, Snooki and Magnum Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service for Bobby Lee Keen will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev.’s Mike Justice and Doug Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be: David Street, Shannon Street, David Newberry, Darrell Campbell, Patrick Jackson, Bradley Whited, Austin Bonney, and Taylor Hamilton. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Hank Matney, Fred Matney, Rick Matney, Roy Stevenson, Doug Shepherd, and Dr. Javed. Friends may call on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
