After a courageous battle, Carol Ann Mullins Davis Blevins Davis made the crossing to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Richlands, VA and was the daughter of the late Edward Monroe and Nancy Vandyke Mullins. She was a devoted homemaker to her family, who she enjoyed taking care of. She had lived in Raleigh, NC at one time for eleven years, but had lived most of her life in the Richlands and Swords Creek areas. Carol was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by former husband, Steven Blevins; sister, Kathleen Casey; and brother, Herman Mullins. She is survived by: Her husband of 41 years, Perry Jay Davis Daughters: Angela Denise Richardson and husband, Dennis of Swords Creek, VA Tina Lynn White and husband, Barry of Swords Creek, VA Anisia Dawn Johnson and husband, Jeff of Swords Creek, VA Former Son-in-law, Joe Hayes Sisters: Rita Chambers and husband, Larry of Crossville, TN Helen Blevins of Cedar Bluff, VA Brother, Arthur Mullins of Danville, VA Grandchildren: Sarah Houck, Jake Kincaid and wife, Amanda; Marleena Huff and husband, Jeremy; Brittney Davis and Tyler Hayes Step Grandchildren: Kayla Yates and husband, Cody; Julia Grimmett and husband, Josh Great Grandchildren: Miles Kincaid, Maddox Huff, Parson Kincaid, Jenson Kincaid and Baby Huff #2 Step Great Grandchildren: Landon Yates, Riley Yates, Haleigh Grimmett, Alexis Grimmett and Greyson Yates Special Niece, Judy Browning Hankins Special Care Givers: Loretta Stacy and Amanda Kincaid Special Thanks to Home Nursing Co. Hospice; Dr. William Handy and Samantha Lane Step Daughter, Christy Hampton Funeral services for Carol Ann Mullins Davis Blevins Davis will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with Rev. Buddy Herald, Rev. Clarence Lowe, Rev. Otis Musick, Rev. Eddie Baldwin and Rev. Dennis Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Jake Kincaid, Tyler Hayes, Jeremy Huff, Joe Hayes, Bob Walk and Wayne White. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Davis, William Absher, Derik Reynolds, Allen Lowe, Kevin Lowe and Ken Davis. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
