David Sargent

Mr. David Keith Sargent, age 41, of Paintlick, Virginia, died Sunday, October 31st, 2004 at a Johnson City, Tennessee hospital from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Russell County, Virginia Saturday afternoon. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was a son of Elbert ?Zeb? and Opal Ball Sargent of the College Estates section of Wardell, Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of the Tazewell County area and was a 1981 Richlands High School graduate. He was an employee of A-Plus Rentals at Claypool Hill, Virginia and attended the Richlands First United Methodist Church. He loved watching Nascar and was an avid lover of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to raise and ride his horses and spending time outdoors. He especially loved spending time and doing things with his children, family, and friends. Survivors in addition to his parents are: His Wife, Mrs. Greta Jessee Sargent One Daughter, Kayla Leigh Sargent of the home Two Sons: Nicholas Keith Sargent of the home and Brandon Harrison of Lebanon, Virginia Eight Sisters: Mrs. Betty Puckett and husband, John of Cleveland, Virginia Mrs. Sylvia Perkins and husband, Darrell of Swords Creek, Virginia Mrs. Barbara Plaster of Maple Gap, Virginia Mrs. Rita Sargent of Honaker, Virginia Mrs. Janice Carmody and husband, James of Abingdon, Virginia Mrs. Mary Salyers and husband, Randy of Bandy, Virginia Mrs. Diana Kinder and husband, Rickie of Jewell Ridge, Virginia Mrs. Carolyn Burks and husband, Ronnie of Grundy, Virginia Two Brothers: Mr. William Sargent and wife, Lisa of Lebanon, Virginia Mr. Gerald Sargent of Doran, Virginia Father-In-Law, Mr. D. C. ?Crickett? Jessee of Richlands and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. David Keith Sargent will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. David Brannock officiating. Interment will follow in Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
