Deborah Joyce Alicie Murphy, 73, of North Tazewell, Virginia, was surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, as she took her last breath on this earth. Deborah was born in Cedar Bluff, Virginia, on December 23, 1950, the daughter of the late Charlie Bryce Alicie and Helen LoEdith Dye Alicie. She was a strong, independent woman with a lot of sass. Her life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family. She was their rock, always putting them first. Her love for her family was as boundless as her love for sewing, watching movies, and spending time with them. Deborah was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Crockett Murphy Those that survive her are: Daughters: Pamela Charlene Clark and her husband Jeffrey of Telford, TN Tina Lynn Falgiani and her husband Quinto Falgiani III of N. Tazewell, VA Amy Sheets and her husband, Randal of N. Tazewell, VA Sister, Addavene Alicie of Tazewell, VA Grandchildren, Ben and Kelsie Cross, Jenna Clark and fiancée Jordan Turner, Jacob Clark, Quinto and Marissa Falgiani IV, Haley Falgiani, Morgan and Dakota Lester, Lindsey Cole, Cody and Mandi Baldwin, Rae and Brandon Epperson, Megan Sheets, Randi K. Sheets, Taylor and Samantha Lambert, Caleb Sheets, Brittany Lambert. Great-grandchildren, Mila and Camden Cross, Ella Rose Falgiani, Seth Nunley, Isabella Kerns, Hunter Graham, Scarlett and Jeremiah Stevenson, Bentley Lambert, Jaxton Paynter, Isaac Epperson, Briley Lambert, Matthew Kerns, Emilyn and Ryleigh Street, Paisley Osbourne. Deborah Murphy's family invites you to attend her funeral service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Tazewell, Virginia, with Minister Virgil Musick officiating. Interment will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jeff Clark, Quinto Falgiani III, Quinto Falgiani IV, Dakota Lester, Cody Baldwin, Brandon Epperson.
