Diana Kiser

Mrs. Diana D. Kiser, age 72, of the Baptist Valley section of North Tazewell, Virginia, passed away Friday, June 18, 2004 at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Berwind, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Frank Earl and Julia Somoskey Belcher. She had made her home in the Baptist Valley area most of her life and was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Baptist Valley and a dedicated Christian. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a 1950 graduate of Big Creek High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Hubert B. Kiser and one brother, Donald ?Tony? Belcher. Survivors are: Two Daughters: Terri Farley and husband, Ken of North Tazewell, Virginia Karen Peters and husband, Brent of Lawton, Oklahoma One Son: Hubert Bryant Kiser of North Tazewell, Virginia A dear friend and daughter-in-law, Patricia Kiser McBride Eight Grandchildren: Joseph Farley and wife LeAnn of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Melanie Goldsworthy and husband, Paul of Bluefield, West Virginia; Jeremiah Crouse, Jonathan Crouse, and Karlee Peters of Lawton, Oklahoma; Crystal Call and husband, Jeff of Bastian, Virginia; Heath Kiser of Fort Carson, Colorado; and Rae Kiser of North Tazewell, Virginia. One Great Grandchild: Abigail Grace Farley of Fredericksburg, Virginia One Sister: Barbara Holliday and husband, Terry of Plainsboro, New Jersey One Brother: Peter T. Belcher and wife, Nenita of Tazewell, Virginia Brother-in-law: Cecil L. Kiser and wife, Julie of Streetsboro, Ohio Two Special Beloved Pets: Dog Cindy and Cat Precious Funeral services for Mrs. Diana D. Kiser will be conducted Monday, June 21, 2004 at 2:00pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Tazewell, Virginia with Ministers Walter Schwitzerlett of Central Church of Christ and Dan Webb of Midway Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Grandsons and Sons-in-law: Joseph Farley, Jeremiah Crouse, Jonathan Crouse, Paul Goldsworthy, Jeff Call, and Heath Kiser. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Wayne Sluss, Jim Peery, Ron Presley, Sam Peery, Harold Wilburn, Frank Horn, Ron Gillespie, and Doug Bowman. Friends may call after 6:00pm Sunday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia.
