Elizabeth Ann Toomes Earls, age 62, of the Baptist Valley section of North Tazewell, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at her home. Elizabeth was born on December 10, 1956 in Randolph County, North Carolina to the late Joseph and Connie Cruthis Toomes. She was a member of the Open Door Community Church in Baptist Valley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Earls; one daughter, Christy Denise Stinson; one sister, Mary Hunt, her son-in-law, Eric Nease; and her step-father, Roosevelt Stinson. Those left to cherish her memory include Daughter, Shanda Marie Nease of Baptist Valley Son, Danny D. Stinson, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Baptist Valley Sisters Wendy Absher of Thompson Valley Jane Queen of Mt. Airy, North Carolina Brothers Frankie Toomes and wife, Carolyn of Randleman, North Carolina James Walter Toomes and wife, Hilda of Seagrove, North Carolina Grandchildren: Tyler Stinson, Chrissy Stinson, Davin Stinson, Brandon Stinson, Miracal Brooke Stinson, Daylon Stinson, Zachary Motley, and Isaac Nease Great Grandchildren : Elizabeth Grace Whitt, Amylia “Rosebud” Shelton, Steven Michael Brown, Jr., Elliott Brandson Stacy, and Tayah Brown Special Grand-daughter, Amber Motley and fiancé, Steven Brown, Sr. Special Grandson, Josh Stinson Brothers-in-Law: Gerald Hunt of Wilmington, North Carolina and Russell Queen of Mt. Airy, North Carolina Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Toomes Earls will be conducted at 7 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with Reverend Charlie McGlothlin officiating. Interment and committal will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Brewster Family Cemetery in Bandy, Virginia near Sinking Waters. Pallbearers will be Josh Stinson, Tyler Stinson, Brandon Stinson, Davin Stinson, Daylon Stinson, Dakota Hubbard, Zachary Motley, and Steven Brown. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 PM until the time of the service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made toward the funeral account at the funeral home.
