Enoch Paul Smith

Enoch Paul Smith, age 73, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky and was the son of the late Frank and Alberta Anderson Smith. Enoch served his country in the U.S. Army. He spent most of his life in the Woodbridge, Virginia area. He was a retried surveyor from Dewberry & Davis in Arlington, Virginia. He was a loving and dedicated husband, brother and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Smith. He is survived by : His Loving wife, Dolly Sue Bandy Smith of Richlands, Virginia Sons: Anthony Smith and wife, Stacey of Spotsylvania, Virginia Richard Smith of Spotsylvania, Virginia Sisters: Hope Dubrico and husband, Jim of Roseville, MI Paige Clevinger of Breaks, VA Sally Honaker and husband, Johnny of Grundy, VA Brother, David Smith and wife, Cathy of Ocean Pines, MD Grandchildren: Gavin Smith, Cayden Smith, Khloe Smith, and Jessica Smith Great Grandchild: Audrey Smith Several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thanks to Amy Roberts, Robin Taylor, Legacy Hospice and Scottie Pharmancy. Funeral services for Enoch Paul Smith will be conducted Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11am at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Annette Warren and Rev. Bill Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Members of Casey-Shortt VFW Post #9640 will conduct military graveside rites. Pallbearers will be: Andy Altizer, Sam Brown, Tom Roberts, Robert Vance, Gavin Smith, and J.R. Pitzer. Honorary pallbearers will be: Randy Brown, Fred Howery, and Darrell Boyd. Friends may call from 10am until 11am on Saturday morning at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
