Esther Marie Beavers

Esther Marie Beavers, age 74, of Bandy, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home. She was born in Tazewell County, VA and was the daughter of the late James Daniel and Jannie Sarah Altizer Barnett of Tazewell County, VA. Mrs. Beavers was a retired educator of Tazewell County Public Schools and Southwest Virginia Community College. She attended Whitaker Ridge Assembly of God and El-Bethel House of God and she was a lifelong resident of the area. She will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Beavers; three brothers, Eddie, Jerry and Bliss Barnett. She is survived by: Daughter, Tina Marie Beavers Turner and husband, Richard, Roanoke, VA Two Sons: Daniel Walter Beavers and wife, Diane of Tazewell, VA Shawn Matthew Beavers and wife, Neyia of Baptist Valley, VA Three Sisters: Ella Cole and husband, Roy of Bandy, VA Cynthia Wright of Bandy, VA Sparkle Bonds and husband, Jimmy of Bandy, VA Four Brothers: Rev. Sammie Barnett and wife, Connie of Tazewell, VA Russell Barnett and wife, Sue of Baptist Valley, VA Woodie Barnett and wife, Lynn of Tazewell, VA Rocky Barnett and wife, Joyce of Sevierville, TN Grandchildren: Ben Frye, Lauren Faye, Cory Beavers, Andrew Beavers, Lincoln Beavers, Jordyn Beavers, Noah Beavers, Cole Turner and Audra Turner Her constant canine companion, Ginger A host of family and friends also survive. Funeral services for Esther Marie Beavers will be conducted at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Marilyn Morris, Rev. Sammy Barnett, and the Chaplin Blonnie Gregory officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at Whitaker Ridge Cemetery at Bandy, VA. Anyone wishing to attend will meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ben Faye, Cory Beavers, Andrew Beavers, Scott Beavers, Ryan Lewis, and Chris Bonds. Honorary pallbearers: All her beloved nephews.
