Juanita Street Osborne

Juanita Osborne age 83, of the Richlands area, heard God call her name, and with her sons, Michael and Jeffery by her side, she drew her last breath, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in the New River Valley hospital in Radford, Virginia. Juanita was born July 27, 1941, in Buchanan County and was the daughter of the late, Lee Street and Lurie Short Street. She dedicated her life to raising her family. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life, she loved them with an unending love. If you were around her, you knew how sweet and caring she could be, she always had a smile to share and would extend a helping hand to anyone in need. Juanita was of the Holiness faith and loved attending church and listening to gospel music. She loved flowers, and whether she knew it or not, she was our rose that bloomed because of all the love in her heart. She was a lifetime resident of the Buchanan County area, until moving to the Richlands area a few years ago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Osborne, and her sisters, Snodie Clark and Chloe Matney. Those who remain to carry on her spirit are her sons: Michael Osborne and his wife, Danielle of Knoxville, TN Jeffery Osborne and his wife, Jennifer of Cedar Bluff, Virginia. Step-son, Brian Osborne and his wife, Patricia of Hurley, VA Sister, Gay Bostic of Richlands, VA Brothers: Otis Street and his wife, Joyce of Oakwood, VA Ferrell Street of Richlands, VA Grandchildren, Campbell Osborne, Irelyn Osborne, McKenley Osborne, Ava Osborne, Talen Osborne, Josh Osborne, and Kerston Osborne. Special niece, Sherry Osborne Special Friend, Juanita Proffitt Several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive along with a host of family and friends. Juanita Osborne’s funeral service will be at noon on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Anthony Hale officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday evening beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
