Lois Kathleen Nolley

Lois Kathleen Nolley, age 92, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Jenkinjones, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Mike Fred Casimo and Cora Poole Casimo. Kathleen had made her home in the Richlands area most of her life and was a retired school teacher having taught second grade at Richlands Elementary School for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Gary High School Class of 1948, and received her BS Degree in Elementary Education from Concord College in 1952. She was a devout member of the First United Methodist Church in Richlands, Virginia. She was a member of the choir, the Josephine White Circle, and was a member of the United Methodist Women for over 40 years. Her church and her family were her life and it led to her giving spirit and her willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Thomas Nolley; sister, Catherine Casimo; and her brother, Fred Casimo. Survivors are: Daughter: Pam McClung and husband, Thomas of Richlands, Virginia Sons: Michael R. Nolley of Richlands, Virginia Mark S. Nolley and wife, Drema of Richlands, Virginia Jeffrey T. Nolley of Charlotte, NC Grandchildren: Kelli Smith and husband, Aaron; Jarod Nolley and Nicole; Megan Lewis and husband, Steve; Ryan Nolley, and Jacob Nolley and Sydney. Great Grandchildren: Kelsie Lewis, Jaden Lewis, Cora Lewis, Teigan Lewis, Luke Smith, Jaxson Smith, and Asher Wilson Funeral services for Lois Kathleen Nolley will be conducted Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 1pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Larry Ramey and Rev. Quay White officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Isaac Nolley, Travis Nolley, John Nolley, J.R. Boothe, Bart Warner, Steve Nolley, Johnnie Dillon, Tony Boothe. Friends may call from 12pm until 1pm prior to the funeral on Thursday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
