Micky Kimberlin

Micky Daryl Kimberlin, age 33, of North Tazewell, Virginia died unexpectedly at his home, Friday, Sept. 19th, 2003. Mick went home to be with the Lord. Born May 27th, 1970 in Greenfield, Indiana, he was a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church and a 1989 Graduate of Graham High School. He was an honor graduate of Tazewell Vocational School and attended Southwest Virginia Community College. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy serving a tour of duty on the U. S. S. Carl Vincent. Mick was a blessing to all who knew him and especially the patients of Hieritage Hall Nursing Home, He volunteered his spare time visiting the many patients. Mick truly loved all creatures, especially dogs. Mick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Susie Crouse, Paternal Grandparents, George (Less) and Ethyl Kimberlin, and by a cousin and good friend, Gary Neel. Survivors are: His Mother and Step-Father: Linda and Larry Richardson of North Tazewell, Virginia His Father and Step-Mother: Bob Kimberlin and Annette of Columbus, Indiana Sister:Kathy Noble and husband, Robert of Columbus, Indiana Brother, Rick Kimberlin and wife, Debbie of Honolulu, Hawaii Nieces and Nephews: Stacy and Clint Noble of Columbus, Indiana, and Ricky and Jessee Kimberlin of Honolulu, Hawaii Half Sisters and Brothers: Joni Ames and husband, Donny of Brown County, Ill., Jessica Kimberlin of Muncie, Indiana, James and Jacob Kimberlin of Brown County, Ill. Step-Brother, Charlie Richardson and wife, Shaunda of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Step-Sister, Crysstal Street and husband, David of Oakwood, Virginia Mick first married the former Laura Church in Feb. of 1991 then later, Danita Bowling in July of 1995. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday Sept. 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia with Rev. Kenneth Gillespie and Rev. Larry Ramey officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens at Bluefield, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Ricky Kimberlin, Jr., Clint Noble, David Ball, Anthony Ball, Carter Robbins, Daniel Berry, David Gibson, and James Kimberlin. Honorary Pallbearers: Two special uncles, Joe Ball, and Don Neel. Also, Jessee Kimberlin, Jacob Kimberlin, Sheriff H. S. Caudell and Officers of the Tazewell Co. Sheriff's Dept. and Officers of the Tazewell Town Police Dept. Members of the Barns-Beavers VFW Post No. 7136 of Tazewell, Virginia will conduct military graveside rites.
