Pansy Cole

Pansy Marie Elswick Cole, age 86 of Richlands, Virginia drew her first breath in heaven on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. One of her favorite verses was, Proverbs 3:4&5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. She was born in Jewell Ridge, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Jackson and Nannie Griffith Elswick. Pansy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a graduate from Richlands High School and was a lifelong resident of the area and she attended the Claypool Hill Bible Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde H. Cole; sister, Mary Elswick; brothers Fred and Frank Elswick. Those who survive to carry on her spirit are: Her daughter, Brenda Fulleman and husband, Allen of Richlands, VA Sons: Lonnie Wayne Cole of Richlands, VA Clyde Daniel Cole and wife, Sharon of Tazewell, VA Sisters: Jacqueline Cole of Jewell Ridge, VA Beatrice Effler of King, NC Grandchildren, Lonica Deskins and husband Harold (Opie) , Shawn Cole and wife Martha, Ashley Farmer and husband Matthew, Adam and Joshua Cole, David Fulleman and wife Marianne, Joy, Stephanie and Caleb Fulleman, Tracy Elliott and husband Matthew. Great-Grandchildren, Isaac and Tyler Cole, Kellianne Fulleman, Whitney and Bailey Elliott Funeral services for Pansy Marie Cole will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev.’s Steve and Carl Tegeler officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Shawn, Larry and Richard Cole, Harold (Opie) Deskins, Matthew Farmer, Jim Lockhart, Lawrence Effler, Quay White and Buck Cole.
