Patricia Sue Reedy Lasker

Patricia Sue Reedy Lasker, age 72, of Tazewell, Virginia, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 in Roanoke, Virginia. She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Bert A. and Hazel W. Yates Reedy. She was a class of 1958 graduate of Richlands High School in Richlands, Virginia. She was also in the first nursing class of SVCC. Patricia was an RN and Physician Assistant at Bluefield Regional Medical Center for thirty years. She had lived most of her life in the Bluefield area. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kelly Buskill, III. She is survived by: Three Daughters: Kellena Meadows and special son-in-law, Thomas of Tazewell, Virginia Tara Chea Lockwood of Bluefield, West Virginia Wendy Buskill Spry and husband, Gary R. of Bristol, Tennessee One Son, Christopher Lasker of Bluefield, West Virginia Daughter-in-Law, Cathy Buskill of Bristol, Tennessee Five Step Children, Leah, Josh, Aaron, Jon, Katie and their father, Dr. Bruce Lasker of Bluefield, WV One Sister, Phyllis Jackson and husband, Earnest of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Five Brothers: James Reedy and wife, Nelline of Raven, Virginia Kermit Reedy and wife, Betty of Pounding Mill, Virginia Kenneth Reedy and wife, Maria of Mantovia, Italy David Reedy and wife, Carol of Raven, Virginia Bill Reedy and wife, Pat of Raven, Virginia Special Aunt, Delcie Yates of Lebanon, Virginia Special Friend, Priscilla Russ of Richlands, Virginia Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral services for Patricia Sue Reedy Lasker will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with Pastor Benjamin Spry officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia. Grandsons and Sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. The Lasker family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Wednesday afternoon at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home.
