Paula Teresa Harrington

Paula Teresa Harrington, age 53 of North Tazewell, Virginia passed Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, after fighting a long battle with kidney failure. She was born May 22, 1965 in Alexandria, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Clinton Clemons and Helen Ruth Harrison France. She had worked for many years as a manager of various Double-Kwik convenience stores. Teresa loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making other people laugh. Her secret passion was visiting various restaurants; she was very fond of an Arby’s roast beef sandwich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dolan Crigger; her grandmother, Thelma Honaker. Those who survive to cherish her memory include one son, Joshua Crigger of North Tazewell, Virginia; two daughters, Brittany Arrington of the home and Kristy Mabe of Bristol, Virginia; boyfriend, Wendall Mabe of the home; two sisters, Cindy Clemmons Sparks of Baptist Valley, Virginia and Ashley Clemmons of Springville, Virginia; one brother, Jeffery France and wife, Stephanie of Baptist Valley, Virginia; five grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyanne, Jayden Arrington and Auston Crigger all of Richlands, Virginia, Jessica and Hunter Stout of North Tazewell, Virginia; two special aunts, Betty Cordle and husband, Jeff of Bristol, Virginia and Juanita Jessee and husband, Eddie of Abingdon, Virginia; two very special uncles, Alan Honaker and Eugene Harrison, both of Baptist Valley, Virginia; special family friend, Jennifer Stout of North Tazewell, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive. Graveside Services for Paula Teresa Harrington will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, Virginia with Pastor Barry Jessee officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeffery France, Eddie Jessee, Jeff Cordle, Boo Honaker and Randy Spangler. There will not be a visitation prior to the graveside service.
