Randall Willard Cordle

Randall Willard Cordle age 68, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia was called to heavenly home on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at a Johnson City, TN hospital. He was born July 7, 1951 in Richlands, VA, and was the son of the late, Luther “Brownie” Cordle and Dolores “MaDee” Whitt Cordle. Randall was a graduate from Richlands High School, Class of 1970. He worked many years as a welder for Virginia Dump Bodies before retiring. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Randall was a lifetime resident of the area and attended the Belfast Full Gospel Fellowship Church where he was a former youth leader and youth Sunday School teacher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Cordle; brothers-in-law, Danny Smith and Wayne Byrd; father-in-law, Felix “Rome” Whited, Jr. Those who remain to carry on his loving spirit are: His loving wife, Cathy Whited Cordle of Cedar Bluff, VA Daughter, Regina Cordle Kinder of Honaker, VA Sons: Randall Anthony “Andy” Cordle and wife, Traci of Honaker, VA Adam Blake Cordle and wife, Rebecca of Cedar Bluff, VA Stepson, Timothy James Boyd and wife, Lora of Honaker, VA Mother-in-law, Dorothy Whited of Cedar Bluff, VA Sisters: Teresa Jane Smith of Raven, VA Susie Lowe and husband, Marvin of Raven, VA Sisters-in-law: Debbie Harris and husband, Cheyenne of Cedar Bluff, VA Becky Byrd of Raven, VA Grandchild, Jensen Cordle, step grandchild, McKenna Boyd, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special first cousins also survive him. The funeral service for Randall Willard Cordle will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Danny Altizer and Rev. Ricky Whitt officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Men of Belfast Full Gospel Fellowship. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home until time of service.
