Sherry Ball

Sherry Ball, age 34, of Grundy, VA passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. She was born in Buchanan County, VA and was the daughter of Joey Samuel Lambert and his wife, Lillian “Tiny” of Grundy, VA and Sheila Darlene Cole of Whitewood, VA. Sherry was a class of 2000 graduate of Iaeger High School. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by great grandparents, Robert and Madgie Cole, George and Rebecca Honaker, Minnie and Sam Lambert; paternal grandparents, Joe and Edna Lambert; maternal grandfathers, Robert D. Cole and Herbert C. Wimmer; brother, Jonathan Lambert; uncles, Robert Dean Cole and Robbie Lee Cole; mother-in-law, Myrtle Ball. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: Husband, Joseph Iscac Ball Son, Joseph Iscac Ball, Jr. of the home Special Aunt and Uncle, R.C. and Peggy Cole of Jolo, WV Sisters: Tiffany Johnson and husband, Jerome of Statesville, NC Jessi Beavers and husband, Justin of Bartley, WV Joy Trivett and husband, Bruce of Thorpe, WV Amber Lambert of Tazewell, VA Brother, Sam Lambert and fiancée, Keila of Bartley, WV Sister in Law, Delisa Thomas and husband, Tracey of Bartley, WV Father-in-law, Junior Ball Maternal grandmother, Frances Wimmer of Jolo, WV Nieces and nephews: Christian, Hunter, Cheyenne, Little Bruce, Nikolas, Cameron, Caleb, Ean, Lilly, T.J. and Malissa Special Friend, Hannah Brewster and husband, Michael and their sons, Malachi and Caleb of Tazewell, VA Funeral services for Sherry Ball will be conducted Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1 pm at the Community Church of the Living God at Three Forks in Jolo, WV with Pastor Tommy Jinks, Brother Charlie Cooper, and Pastor Herbert Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow at the Cole Family Cemetery on White Mountain near Whitewood, VA. The family will receive friends after 4:00 pm Friday evening at the church.
