Thelma Juanita Osborne Mosley, age 74, of Troutman, NC went into eternal rest at her home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Juanita was born in Buchanan County, VA on December 11, 1943 to the late Thomas and Rosie Webb Osborne. She will always be remembered for her outgoing and outspoken personality. She adored her Jack Russell terriers. Juanita was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord most of all in her life. She was a member of Mountain Road Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold McDonald Mosley; two sisters, Frances Hall and Opal Reedy; and two brothers, Jess Osborne and Perry Osborne. She is survived by: Her Son, Johnny Mosley and wife, Linda of Troutman, NC Grandson, Jason Mosely of Charlotte, NC Sisters: Willis Music and husband, Harold of Oakwood, VA Sue Clifton of Oakwood, VA Diane Smith and husband, Larry of Ft. Pierce, FL Carmie Elswick of Baptist Valley, VA Alafair Dusseau and husband, Ted of Ypsilanti, MI Brothers: Mack Osborne and wife, Lois of Raven, VA Harold Osborne and wife, Peggy of Baptist Valley, VA Sherman Osborne and wife, Fay of Tazewell, VA Tommy Osborne and wife, Lois of N. Holston, VA Alvin Osborne and wife, Jackie of Liberty, NC Estil Osborne and wife, Lila of Pleasant Garden, NC Brother-in-Law, James Hall of Bluefield, VA Sister-in-Law, Geneva Osborne of Randleman, NC Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. The funeral for Thelma Juanita Mosley will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Jamie Foxx officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Levi Mounts, Logan Mounts, Roger “Buster” Osborne; Anthony Clifton, Alvin Osborne and Mack Osborne. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday evening at the funeral home.
