Timothy Horn

Timothy Clyde Horn, age 56 of Westmoreland, Tennessee, formerly of Richlands, Virginia died Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Middle Tennessee Veterans Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on February 2, 1956 in Heidelberg, Germany to Clyde J. Horn of Claypool Hill, Virginia and Gearldene Bradley Ramsey of Gallatin, Tennessee. Timothy was a graduate of Richlands High School and he served his country in the U. S. Army. Tim was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed boating, motorcycles and airplanes. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Horn, one sister, Sherry Rasnick and one brother-in-law, Johnny Rasnick. Those who survive him are: His Father, Clyde J. Horn and Kathy of Claypool Hill, VA His Mother, Gearldene Bradley Ramsey of Gallatin, Tennessee Two Daughters: Sara Ward and Freddie of Westmoreland, Tennessee Vanessa Horn of Westmoreland, Tennessee Nine Grandchildren: Kaitlin, Alexis, Lindsey, Macie, London Ward; Hailey and Tyler Warren; Destiney and Wyatt Ward. Aunts, Ann Horn, Buelah Vandyke and Creta Horn, a host of cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services for Timothy Clyde Horn will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Carl Howell and Rev. Mickey Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Casey-Shortt VFW Post #9640. Pallbearers will be: Randy Mitchell, Donnie Steele, Alan Vandyke, Freddie Bandy, Darrell Addision, and Wayne Stevenson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Employees of C. J. Horn Construction, Jason Short, Bobby Steele, Jim Vandyke, Randy Long, Ronnie Horn, Scottie Horn, Jason Herndon, Wess Addair, Jerry Davis and Gearld Mosolgo.
