Veronica Alicia Davis

Veronica Alicia Davis, age 31, of Nashville, TN, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Nashville, TN. She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of Rick Dean Davis and Cynthia Jo Keene Bucklen. She had made her home in the Richlands and Roanoke areas most of her life prior to moving to Nashville two years ago. She was a nurse for Amedisys Health Care having previously worked at Lewis-Gale Hospital and Carillion-Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate and valedictorian from Highlight Academy and attended SVCC and ODU to obtain her nursing degree. Veronica was a beautiful and caring woman. She will be held in our hearts forever; Mama Gayle loved her as a daughter and will miss her greatly! “Never say goodbye for goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.” –Peter Pan. Funeral services for Veronica Alicia Davis will be conducted Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 3:00pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Chris Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at the Lawson Family Cemetery on Road Ridge near Raven, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
