Wilma Rainelle Hale

Wilma Rainelle Hale, age 91, of Doran. VA went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Commonwealth Assisted Living at Claypool Hill, VA. Wilma was born on May 4, 1930 in Doran, VA and was the daughter of the late Aut Eugene and Doris Ellen Lowe Shreve. She was a lifelong resident of the Doran area and was a member of the Chapel of Love Church. Wilma enjoyed traveling, loved going to estate sales, and loved to buy and sale antiques. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William E. “Butch” Hale; and two sisters, Bonnie Sue Shreve and Naomi Louise Keen. She is survived by her: Son, Robert “Bobby” Allen Hale and wife, Pam of Saltville, VA Daughters of the heart and mothers of her grandchildren: Sue Hale of Richlands, VA Pat Hale Ball of Belfast, VA Sisters: Peggy Shook of Doran, VA Elsie Mutter of Belfast, VA Linda Johnson and husband, Dallas of Doran, VA Grandchildren: William “Billy” Eugene Hale, II and wife, Eloise of Charlotte, NC Sheri Lynn Hale and Dusty Ballard of Richlands, VA Wilma Suzanne Hale of Richlands, VA Robin Leigh Hale Murphy and husband, Derek of Johnson City, TN Step Grandchildren: Tonya Roberts and Kevin Roberts of Saltville, VA Great Grandchildren: Jordyn Faith Hale of Richlands, VA William Damon McKinley “Mac” Hale of Charlotte, NC Keagan Conor Murphy and Liam Kross Murphy of Johnson City, TN Step Great Grandchild, Isaiah Roberts of Saltville, VA Great Great-Grandchild, Jaxson Bandy Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Graveside services for Wilma Rainelle Hale will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum #1 with the Rev. Roger Lester officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 am. Entombment will follow. Pallbearers will be Dereck Murphy, Kevin Roberts, Allen Compton, Kelly Williams, Jeff Lester and Gary Thomas. Honorary pallbearer will be Isaiah Roberts. The Hale family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel of Love Church; 469 Walnut Dr; Cedar Bluff, VA 24609.
