Delmar Blair Street

March 3, 1949 - September 11, 2020

Delmar Blair Street, age 71, of Tazewell, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 11, 2020 at his home following a lengthy illness. Delmar was born on March 3, 1949 in Tazewell County, Virginia to the late Ervin Albert and Opal Mary Bandy Street. He was a 1967 graduate of Tazewell High School and had served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Street loved to golf. He also enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan. After his health no longer let him play golf, Delmar took up woodworking. He love making things for his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalee Mitchell. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Wanda Marie Manis Street; His daughter, Shelia Marie Jones of Tazewell, Virginia; His sister, Judith Ann Cox of Arkansas; Two grandchildren, Jesse Thomason Jones and Shelby Leigh Jones, both of Tazewell, Virginia. A host of additional family and friends also survive. Funeral services for Delmar Blair Street will be conducted at 7 PM on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia. Members of the Barnes-Beavers VFW Post #7136 will conduct military honors. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 PM until the time of the service at 7 PM.
