Donald Fraley Booth age 84, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Clinch Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Donald was born in Wayne County, West Virginia and was the son of the late Henry Garland Booth and Virginia Pack Booth Stanley and stepfather, John B. Stanley. He had served his country in the U.S. Army and worked 28 years as a coal miner before retiring. Donald was a very talented artist ad loved to paint, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and loved to cook. He was a member of the Grace Church of God and had spent most of his life the surrounding area. In addition, to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Ann Elkins. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Maxine Bragg Booth of Cedar Bluff, VA Those also surviving are his adopted children, Steven Booth and Wendy Lynn Booth. Grandchildren Rebecca Lynn Cook and Cameron Austin Cook. Half-brother, Randall Stanley Special friends and caregivers, Terry and Angela Keen The funeral service for Donald Booth will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, with the Rev. Terry Keen officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens mausoleum. The men of Grace Church of God will serve as pallbearers. Members of Casey-Shortt VFW Post #9640 will conduct military graveside rites.
