Effie Louise Sparks, age 79, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home. Effie was born on April 26, 1941 in Tazewell County, Virginia to the late James and Iva Asbury Patrick. She was a 1959 graduate of Richlands High School and had worked as a seamstress for Eastern Isles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Muir; and her brother, Chapman Patrick. Those left to cherish her memory include Her husband of 51 years, Gene Sparks; Her daughter, Pam Taylor and husband, Robert of Statesville, NC A graveside service for Effie Louise Sparks will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
