Elice Charles Osborne

Elice Charles Osborne, age 82, of Raven, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Virginia. Elice was born on July 17, 1939, in Tazewell County, VA, and was the son of the late William “Trigger Bill” and Narcie Lowe Osborne. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the Latter Rain Apostolic Church. Elice was a lifelong resident of the Raven area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Matthew Osborne and Cecil “Dwight” Osborne; two brothers, Clyde David Osborne and Emory Osborne; and a sister, Verlie Elswick. He is survived by: His wife of 64 years, Mary Keen Osborne Daughters-in-Law: Sylvia Brown of Raven, VA Connie Stilwell of Richlands, VA Sister: Hattie Short and husband, Mose of Powhatten, VA Brother: Chap Osborne of Raven, VA Grandchildren: Jason Osborne and wife, Catherine of Richlands, VA Daniel Osborne and wife, Natasha of Raven, VA Shane Osborne and wife, Jessica of Swords Creek, VA Ginger Bevins and husband, Frankie of Richlands, VA Patsy Osborne and fiancé, Timothy of Richlands, VA Also, surviving are fourteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, several half brothers and sisters; stepbrothers, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services for Elice Charles Osborne will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Paul Vandyke and Rev. Dave Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jason Osborne, Jason Lee Osborne, Cody Osborne, Daniel Osborne, Landon Osborne, Shane Osborne, Brandon Baker, and Dalton Baker. The Osborne family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday evening at the funeral home.
