Elizabeth “By-By” Yuvonne Hayes, age 59 of North Tazewell, VA died Friday, February 4, 2022 at her home. She was born May 9, 1962 in Richlands, VA and was a daughter of the late Henry and Beulah Rebecca Sparks Hayes. Elizabeth was a 1980 Graduate of Tazewell High School and had worked for several years as a Directional Agent for West At Home. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a was a Certified Private Investigator. She attended several local Churches when her health allowed. Ms. Hayes loved her family and friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those who survive to cherish her memory include, one sister, Terri Hayes of North Tazewell, VA; two nephews, Ryan “Sketter” Hess of North Tazewell, VA and Justin Tyler Hess and companion, Destiny Basil of Beckley, WV; one great nephew, Heath William Hess of Beckley, WV; one great niece, Rosalee Grace Hess of Beckley, WV; special cousin, Darrell Myers of North Tazewell, VA; special friends, Sharon Jennelle, Beverly Shelton and Stacey “Shyrl” Clifton; several other family members and friends also survive. A Memorial Service for Ms. Hayes will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with Pastor Randy Campbell, II. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
