Jerry Dwayne Mutter, age 53 of North Tazewell, VA died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, VA. He was born September 16, 1965 at Fort Knox, KY and was a son of Faye Mutter Osborne of North Tazewell, VA and the late Charles Arthur Mutter, Sr. Mr. Mutter was a 1983 Graduate of Tazewell High School and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Jerry enjoyed going to the library, watching movies and spending time with his wife. In addition to his mother, those who survive to cherish his memory include his wife, Della Mae Sparks Mutter; one daughter, Caitlin Cassandra Mutter of Richlands, NC; three brothers, Charles Arthur Mutter, Jr. of Bluefield, WV, Steven Thomas Mutter and wife, Belle of Baptist Valley, VA and Michael Shannon Mutter of St. Louis, MO; several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. Funeral Services for Jerry Dwayne Mutter will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with Brian Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, VA. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
