Mabel Virginia McGlothlin

Mabel Virginia McGlothlin, age 89, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home. She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Harmon and Willie Mae Smith Gilbert. She was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area and was a former LPN at the Mattie Williams Hospital. She was a 48 year member of the Westside Holiness Church in Raven, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. McGlothlin; son, Timothy Cyphers; sisters, Dorothy Roberts and Betty Messer; and one brother, Leonard Gilbert. Survivors are: Daughters: Donna Dye of Richlands, Virginia Barbara Durrance and husband, Terry of Monticello, Georgia Son: Mark Cyphers and Julie of Monticello, Georgia Sister: Ann Dills of Richlands, Virginia Thirteen Grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mabel McGlothlin will be conducted Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Jonathan Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Men of the Westside Holiness Church will serve as pallbearers.
