Oakley Meadows Keen, age 80, of Pounding Mill, Virginia, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born in Page, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Overal Meadows and Hettie Catherine Horne Meadows. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a former employee of Honaker Mills and Acme Supermarket. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Blankenship and Wilma Sue Potter; and three brothers, James Edward Meadows, Robert Lee “Dalford” Meadows, and Tivis Meadows. Survivors are: Her Husband of 60 Years: Wallace D. Keen Daughters: Donna Gail Hale and husband, Ronald of Abingdon, Virginia Patsy Ann Westmoreland and husband, Michael of Petersburg, Virginia Connie Keen Sister: Edith Hale and husband, Donald of Page, Virginia Grandchildren: Brett Vandyke, Nikki Vandyke, Travis Vandyke, and Preston Westmoreland Six Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Oakley Meadows Keen will be conducted Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11am at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Alan Meadows and Rev. Mickey Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
