Pearl W. Graybeal Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Pearl W. Graybeal, age 97, of Richlands, Virginia, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home. Pearl was born on June 24, 1923 in Wise County, Virginia to the late John and Hattie Vencill Catron. She was a lifelong resident of Southwest Virginia and lived in Richlands for over 56 years. She worked for many years as manager of the Banner Wash House. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Graybeal; daughter and son-in-law, Hattie Mae and Robert Price; infant son, Sonny; granddaughter, Belinda Sue Carr; brothers, John, Bruce, and Bill Catron. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Judy) McCoy of South Park, Pennsylvania; Great Grandson, George Carr, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina; Great Granddaughter, Tanisha Carr of Gary, West Virginia; Five Great Grandchildren Brother, Frank Catron of Easley, South Carolina; Special family friends, Cathy Noe of Kimball, West Virginia; William Caldwell of Gary, West Virginia; and Larry Honaker of Richlands, Virginia. The family would like to express appreciation to Helping Hands Hospice for their care and kindness to Pearl, with a special thanks to Staff Amanda, Abby, Rosalie, Laura, Brittany, and Tiffany. Funeral services for Pearl W. Graybeal will be conducted at 12 PM on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Reverend Phillip Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia. Pallbearers will be George Carr, Jr., Barry Miller, Tariq Carr, Timothy Carr, Larry Honaker, and Harold Lester. George Carr, Sr. and Jordan Hale will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 AM until the time of the service.
