Ricky Clyde Griffith, age 59, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 in Richlands, Virginia. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Hobart and Mabel “Peggy” Hess Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Polly Elswick; and brothers, David, Thomas, and Joe Griffith. Survivors are: Daughter: Brittany Hamilton and husband, Zachary of Elliston, Virginia Son: Joseph Griffith of Bristol, Virginia Sisters: Loretta Douglas of Richlands, Virginia Kathryn Whited of Horton Ridge, Virginia Pam Stepp and husband, Jack of Kermit, WV Brother: Roy Griffith and wife, Sandra of Doran, Virginia Grandchildren: Bentley Hamilton, Issaiah Hamilton, and Landen Hamilton Funeral services for Ricky Griffith will be conducted Friday, June 10, 2022 at 1pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Jordan White officiating. Interment will follow at the Richardson Family Cemetery on Horton Ridge near Raven, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
