Roy Lynn Collins, age 54 of Bishop, VA died September 29, 2020 at his home. He was born April 28, 1966 in Logan, WV and was a son of the late Allan Harman and Mollie Hatfield Daniels. He had worked the majority of his life as a residential and commercial painter. Roy loved to hunt and fish and he enjoyed gardening. Mr. Collins attended Alexander United Methodist Church in Bishop, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Daniels. Those who survive to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela Christine Baldwin Collins; seven children, Joshua Collins and Tosha Curry of Delbarton, WV, Jamie Collins of Tazewell, VA, Stephan Baldwin and wife, Alyssa of Honaker, VA, Brittany Toler and husband, Justin of Justice, WV, Cassie Collins and husband, Kendal White of Williamson, WV, Jason Baldwin of Bishop, VA and Samantha Romain and husband, David of Waverly, OH; four sisters, Kathryn Crum and husband, Freddie of Delbarton, WV, Mary Adams and husband, Anthony of Ben Creek, WV, Dorothy Hickman and husband, Jay of Tazewell, VA and Kelly Baldwin and husband, Danny Shoe of Concord, NC; one brother, James Collins and wife, Jeanette of Beach Creek, WV; nine grandchildren with a grandchild on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survie. Funeral Services for Roy Collins will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Alexander United Methodist Church in Bishop, VA with the Reverend Daniel Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at the Baldwin – Collins Cemetery in Bishop, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer will be James Collins. The family will receive friends at the Church after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
