Stella Jean Mitchell

September 9, 1944 - December 16, 2021

Stella Jean Mitchell, age 77, of the Mountain Road section of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon, VA. Stella was the daughter of the late Graham and Ruby Vencill Monk of Richlands, VA. She was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1962, and later worked as an LPN with Heritage Hall for over twenty years, caring for many patients over the years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by one brother, Thomas “Buddy” Monk, and one sister, Marie Palmer. Stella is survived by: Daughter, Jennifer Mitchell, of Cedar Bluff, VA Sons: Timothy Mitchell, of Raven, VA David Mitchell of Broken Arrow, OK Sisters: Wanda Faye McGhee of Richlands, VA Nancy Richardson of Charlottesville, VA Kathy Mitchell of Cedar Bluff, VA Grandson, Bradley Honaker Burial will be private.
