Hiram Wayne Moran

Whereas it has pleased our Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well, to call from our midst on Saturday, July 16, 2016, Hiram Wayne Moran to his eternal home. He was born December 13, 1937, having lived seventy-eight years of a loving and useful life. He loved his family and his Church, leaving a heritage in the life of his children and grandchildren that will bring a lifetime of joy and precious memories. He served his Country with pride and is a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved fishing, hunting, wood-working, studying the Bible and singing in Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram G. and Elda Elizabeth Rogers Moran; one infant son, Richard Wayne Moran; a very special brother, Jerry Moran. Leaving to mourn his going home is his wife of forty-eight years, Ruby Naomi Moran; his beloved children, Anthony Wayne Moran and wife, Kathie of Hackett, AR, Jeffrey Moran of Oden, AR, Alvin Moran of Hackett, AR, Hiram G. Moran and wife, Sheila of Ft. Smith, AR, Terry Moran and wife, Deanne of Hackett, AR, Rodney King and wife, Lisa of Lawrence, KS, Joshua Collis and wife, Linda of Kimball, WV, Darrel Lambert and wife, Victoria of War, WV, Lovesa Moran of the home, Travis McReynolds and wife, Moranda of Princeton, WV; one special grandson, Jamie Mills of Destin, FL; one brother, Dwight Moran and wife, Judy of Greenwood, AR; two sisters, Mary McKee of Lebanon, MO and Martha Shrum and husband, Danny of Greenwood, AR; twenty-one grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; other family members and friends also survive. Funeral Services for Hiram Wayne Moran will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Canebrake Freewill Baptist Church in Canebrake, WV with the Rev. Darrell Long officiating assisted by the Rev. Chris White. Burial will follow at Hartwell Cemetery in Hartwell, WV. Pallbearers will be Thomas Tipton, John Russell, Mike Hatfield, Mark Crabtree, Dwayne “Bubby” Griffith and Bill Adams. Honorary Pallbearer will be Doug Shelton. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by members of the Barns-Beavers VFW Post #7136 in Tazewell, VA. The family will receive friends at the Canebrake Freewill Baptist Church from 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
