Joan Reynolds Webb

Mrs. Joan Reynolds Webb, age 90, died Wednesday November 2, 2022, at Commonwealth Senior Living in Cedar Bluff, VA. She was born in North Tazewell, VA on March 4, 1932. Joan was the daughter of the late Tase and Daisy Harman Reynolds. She was a long-time resident of Ft Pierce, Florida, and a member of Westside Baptist Church. Joan had a successful career with St Lucie County Public Schools where she served as a bookkeeper at Dan McCarty High School, Central High School, and Lawnwood Elementary. She enjoyed camping with friends and spending time with family. She loved her nephews and nieces like her own. Joan loved to cook and contributed to many recipe books over the years. She created a recipe book for each family member filled with special family recipes that has been cherished by all that received one. After her retirement, Joan and her husband Bob spent summers back home in Richlands. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob H. Webb; loving aunt, Rosie Mae Harman, and brother-in-law Ralph B. Davis. Survivors are Sister, Carol Davis, Nieces, and Nephews: Kimberly Ringstaff and husband Terry, Melissa Woodford and husband Tom, Steve Davis and wife Dana, Janice Brown and husband Jack, Pamella Copeland and husband Jack, Deanna Flatt, Sue Newberry, Janifer Newberry Adkins and husband Jim, Jimmie Hawkins, Michael Newberry and wife Patricia. Joan was also loved by many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with Rev. Annette Warren officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 until time of funeral service. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Garden in Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Jonah Davis, Trent Davis, Cameron Davis, Tom Woodford, Terry Ringstaff, Keith Brown and Stan Lampert. Honorary pallbearers: Cain Ringstaff, Jacob Woodford, Zachary Woodford and Travis McCall. Special thanks to the staff of Commonwealth Senior Living in Cedar Bluff, Helping Hands Hospice Care, and caregivers Vickie Monk, Nancy Jackson, and Amanda Jackson.
