Melissa “Mimi” Ann Wilson, age 45, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at her home. She was born in Richlands, Virginia to the late Wilburn Eugene and Mildred Kathleen Salyers Meadows. Melissa was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved going to church, being at home with her family who she loved. Her kids were her life. She enjoyed walking and doing crafts. She was a Developmental Assistant at Richlands Elementary School. She attended Belfast Full Gospel Fellowship and was a lifetime resident of the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Perry E. Meadows. She is survived by: Her loving husband, Gregory Scott Wilson. Three Sons: Zachary Scott Wilson and girlfriend, Breeze Shorter of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Gregory Blayke Wilson and girlfriend, Morgan Lefae Hill of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Canyon Zayke Wilson of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Five Sisters: Becky “Booey” Meadows of Kingsport, Tennessee Tena Robin “Mamaw” Lambert and husband, Monte Shane of Pounding Mill, Virginia Christine Dale “Ree” Meadows of Pounding Mill, Virginia Cindy Denise “Cind” Hodge and husband, Jimmie Joe of Cookeville, Tennessee Janet Lynn McGlothlin of Lebanon, Virginia Two Grandchildren, Zayden Gage Wilson, Addalyn Jaide Wilson and one on the way. Four Nieces, Mindy Nunley, Keisha Meadows, Noel Meadows, and Haleigh Hodge One Nephew, Brandon Meadows One great niece, Makiyah Blye and four great nephews, Caleb Nunley, Connor Nunley, Christian Nunley and Cameron Nunley Mother-in-Law, Ruth Wilson of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Special Friend, Dreama Schweingruber Funeral services for Melissa “Mimi” Ann Wilson will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Danny Altizer and Ronnie Sparks officiating . Interment will follow at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery, Richlands, Virginia with Chad Lampkin officiating. Pallbearers will be Jordan May, Brian Beavers, Ethain Keene, Jake Rife, Joey Street, Nathaniel Hubbard.
