Phillip Mark Stiltner

Phillip Mark Stiltner, age 56, of Doran, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. He was born July 23, 1958 in Buchanan County and was the son of Opal Jane Kennedy Stiltner of Nickelsville, Virginia and the late Phillip Stiltner. He was an avid fisherman that he enjoyed doing with his son and grandson. He was a retired coal miner that worked several years and was a member of the Calvary Temple in Richlands, Virginia. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Ellis Stiltner. Survivors, in addition to his mother, are: His Wife of 32 years: Rebecca “Becky” Ann Stiltner Daughter: Amanda Ashley Shelton and husband, Robert of Doran, Virginia Son: Phillip Dwayne Stiltner and wife, Ashley of Doran, Virginia Grandson: Mason Dwayne Stiltner Three Sisters: Paula Louise Helton of Nickelsville, Virginia Debra Ann Devries and husband, Robert of Nickelsville, Virginia Robin Michelle Mullins of Nickelsville, Virginia Two Brothers: Robert Ferrell Stiltner and wife, Tina of Mooresville, North Carolina Mitchell Dwayne Stiltner and wife, Kella of Nickelsville, Virginia Several nieces and nephews and brothers in law and sisters in law. Funeral services for Phillip Mark Stiltner will be conducted Monday, February 2, 2015 at 12pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Grady McGlothlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Stiltner Family Cemetery on Poplar Creek near Grundy, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Larry Dean Stiltner, Jeff Stiltner, Estel Baker, Jr., Steven Ray Stiltner, Rickie Dean Joyce, Everett Donnie Blankenship, Matthew Mullins, Travis Ray Stiltner, and Austin Stiltner. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Braxton Smith, Walt Keen, Robert Devries, Frank Rash, Bill Horn, Paul Horn, Ted Waldale, and Bill Stacy.
