II Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) “And he said unto me, “My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Ricky Lynn Clyburn, age 53 of Tazewell, VA died peacefully Monday, March 5, 2018 at a Roanoke, VA hospital surrounded by his treasured family and in the loving Presence of his Savior. He was born June 22, 1964 and was the second son born to Jeraline Clyburn of Tazewell, VA and the late Lloyd Eugene Clyburn. Ricky was a kind hearted and generous person who enjoyed playing music on his guitar, playing for his entertainment and the enjoyment of others. Ricky had a deep friendship with his father, Eugene; he loved and appreciated his mother, Jeraline. Over the last several years he had developed such a love for his special friend, Claudia Wong Lezama of Torreon, Mexico. She and her family were very much a part of Ricky’s happiness and joy, every day of life! Ricky hoped for a future to meet Coco in person, although they did not get the chance he treasured her friendship. TLAFAAD. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ottie and Mabel Clyburn of Brewsterdale, WV; maternal grandparents, William R. and Elsie Viola Bundy of Thompson Valley, VA.; Also, Patricia B. Clyburn, a very loved sister in-law; niece, Monica Shannon Clyburn. Survivors include, Ricky’s dear mother, Jeraline Joyce Bundy Clyburn of the home in Tazewell, VA; his brother, Shannon K. Clyburn and daughter, Jessica of Roanoke, VA, his brother, Steven Clyburn and his daughter, Aleisha, of Roanoke, VA; his sister and brother in-law, Judy and Edsel Conner and their children Shawn, Reece, Alston, Caiden, Mahkayla, Elissa, Kenzie, and Amiyah of Floyd, VA. A graveside / interment service for Ricky Lynn Clyburn will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Brown’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Stoney Ridge, VA with the Rev. Kelvin Seabolt officiating. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.
