Rosalie Miller

Mrs. Rosalie Wallace Miller, age 85, of the Lake Park section of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 06, 2006 in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Finney, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Bessie Artrip Wallace, both Russell County natives. She made her home in the Richlands area most of her life and was a member of the Clearview United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Richlands Garden Club and was a very active member of the Richlands Band Boosters, and was also a member of the Richlands Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #104. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family and had a great love for flowers and birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ralph E. Miller and a daughter, Mrs. Christine Robinson. Survivors are: Son-In-Law, Mr. Joseph A. "Sandy" Robinson of Abingdon, Virginia Brother, Mr. Wayne Wallace of Honaker, Virginia Grandchildren: Barry Keith Robinson and wife, Gina, and Angela Robinson Yates and husband, Dean. Great Grandchildren: Heather Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Hunter Yates, Harley Yates, and Kendel Yates. Also, her loving caregivers and neighbors. Funeral services for Mrs. Rosalie Wallace Miller will be conducted Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Paul Griffith officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Mike Hart, Jack Pyott, Ron Tanner, Jim Bingham, Allen Hess, Kenneth Boyd, Stan Hale, and Greg Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers: Kenny Burress, Sid Johnson, Raleigh Lester, Jr., Fleet Underwood, Robert Burns, Bob Howell, A. W. Horton, Jr., Dr. Andrew Rhinehart, Fred Gent, Malcome Vandyke, Grat Webb, Robert Smith, and Joe Blair McGlothlin.
